After a resounding success of our very first round of potlucking, we have decided to theme our next one: The Smells of Asia, any dish that represents “Asian”.. thats a whole lot of food dishes to choose from..

First up, we have Ryan, who will be preparing Tom Yum Soup! Sawadee Krup! Makes me feel like going to Thailand!!!
On the left, Ryan is removing the “excess oil” on the surface of the soup to make it less oily. That is very kind of him for the benefits of the health of all of us:) Kop Khun Krup!

Next up is me! I am a big fan of crabs and I have been eating crabs for the past 25 years but has never tried cooking a crab dish. The 3 common ones are: Chilli Crab, Black Pepper crab and Buttered Crab. Recently, I have tried a new type of crab dish: Salted Egg Yolk Crab. It was awesome! So I have decided to challenge myself by trying to cook it myself with all my buddies helping out to taste I will not hesitate to do so hehe.

轮到本人上场了!我超级喜欢吃螃蟹!过去只吃过,但是从来没有煮过螃蟹。螃蟹的三种最常见的烹煮方式有:辣椒式,黑胡椒式和牛油式。最近尝试了市面上新的烹煮方式:咸蛋黄螃蟹!好吃到~~~无语!所以决定挑战尝试烹煮这到让我一想起就想流口水的一道佳肴:咸蛋黄螃蟹!希望我挑战成功!

The ingredients of Salted-Egg Crab: Salted-Egg Yolks, Crab, Curry Leaves, seasoning.

烹煮咸蛋黄螃蟹所需的材料。咸蛋黄,螃蟹,咖喱叶,调味。

The trick i steal from recipe is to keep stir frying the crab so that most parts of the crab will be coated with the salted-egg yolk sauce.

从食谱上秘诀说道要不停翻炒螃蟹,让咸蛋汁沾到螃蟹的各个部位,吃起来咸蛋味道会比较均匀。
